Dr. Marina

is the Founder and Medical Director of Skin Institute, a full service medical aesthetic practice. Dr. Marina and team strive to create a personalized experience for every patient to ensure every visit meets patients unique, individual needs.

 Her aesthetic objective has always been clear clear: enhancing natural beauty and delivering natural results. She is a strong believer in the concept of slow and steady enhancement, rather than changing and distorting natural features. Much of this philosophy lies in Dr. Marina’s passion for helping patients feel and look their best - at any age.  

Dr. Marina completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University Medical School of New Jersey. She has over 14 years of  experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, and travel medicine. She is a board-certified family physician practicing Aesthetic Medicine, an active member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr. Marina has been trained trained in Canada, the United States and Europe, and is licensed to practice medicine in both the United States and Canada. She began her aesthetic career working in a plastic surgery centre and has received extensive training from leaders in the field of plastic surgery.

Dr. Marina has been practicing Aesthetic Medicine for over a decade as an advanced injector. Skin Institute is the culmination of years of specialized education and experience, which she shares with other physicians and nurses in her field as an advanced injectable trainer.

Treatments and techniques are always evolving, and Dr. Marina makes sure her clinic is evolving with them. When she isn’t in the clinic, you are most likely to catch travelling around the world on a never-ending pursuit of knowledge. Her favourite international trainings include the Miami Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology forum, as well as the IMCAS World Congress in Paris.
